The North East Open kickboxing tournament hosted by Carrickmacross Kickboxing club is always a big and busy event attracting kickboxing clubs from the north and south and a bigger mix from northern Ireland teams that usually would not travel to southern competitions. 

Local clubs TMA, Ljay's, Team Revolution, Diamond Martial Arts and BMA's Clondalkin squads were well represented on the day making up the majority of the participants!

Team BMA Clondalkin had over 20 participants competing in what proved to be a long and busy day for all teams involved.

Nonetheless, the Clondalkin outfit finished the day with 8 golds, 10 silver and 11 bronze medals!

Top of the podium places were awarded to: Robert Dryja, Hannah Sammon, Cayden Derwin, Roan Derwin Fitzpatrick, Louise Shortt (double gold) and Matthew Devlin.

Runner up spots were earned by Jenny Molloy, Donny Caren (double silver), Roan Derwin Fitzpatrick, Fionn Kelly, Robert Dryja, Artur Dryja, Harry Mannion and Kym Fitzgerald (double silver).

Third place finishes were: Alex Barrett, Jonathan John (x 2 bronze), Ben Reid (x 2 bronze), Roan Derwin Fitzgerald, Fionn Kelly, Artur Dryja, Kym Fitzgerald, Hannah Sammon and Jamie Hawkins.
